## Certification recommendation

Most realistic before the interview:

1. Complete as much as possible of **FortiGate 7.6 Operator - ENGLISH**.
2. If time allows, attempt the **FortiGate 7.6 Operator / NSE 3** exam badge.
3. Do not chase full FCP/NSE4 before the interview; use FortiOS Admin selectively for NAT/routing/logging/VPN/diagnostics.

## How to present it in interview

Short version:

> I already have production firewall experience with Sophos. For this Fortinet role I registered in Fortinet Training Institute and started the FortiGate 7.6 Operator / FCA track to map that experience into FortiGate terminology: policies, routing, NAT, VPN, monitoring, logs and HA. I also use the FortiOS Administrator material selectively for deeper troubleshooting topics like firewall policy/NAT, routing, IPsec VPN and diagnostics.
